Here are some suggestions for attached or detached garage on a narrow lot. The house footprint is our Sagamore model.

Two versions of an attached garage for a narrow lot.  On the left we show a corner lot with driveway going directly into the garage.
The right plan shows how you can angle the garage behind the house for efficient use of a narrow lot.

Most locales will allow the driveway, landscaping and other non-structural elements to be located within the set-back restricted areas.  In many places your driveway can be placed at the lot line as long as the garage is not within the required setback.

Check with your building department to see what's permitted before you finalize your plans. All codes are subject to "interpretation" by your local officials and one department's interpretation may not be the same as anothers.

Be sure to allow a margin of error in tight situations.  Construction in the real world can not be done to extremely precise measurements.

Showing a detached 24' x 24' garage. Allow a 20' deep backing area at the garage doors. This can be offset behind the house so that the far side of the garage is only the minimum 10' width of the drive plus a small buffer of 6' or even less.  The house shown is 38' deep.
